Step 2: Independent Contractor Agreement
This CONTRACT FOR SERVICES dated:
is made between: Dispatch X Ltd – PO BOX 6190, Sheffield,S2 9JF
(hereafter referred to as "the Company")
and
(Name & Address – hereafter referred to as “the Supplier”)
This agreement shall commence on (“the Commencement Date”)
and shall continue until terminated in accordance with the termination provisions set out in this agreement.
The Company’s business involves the resourcing and supply of self-employed suppliers and Independent
Contractors specialising in the provision of multi-drop parcel delivery services, which the Company provides to
its clients at various UK geographic sites and locations.
The purpose of this contract is not to establish an employment relationship, but to define the extent under which
the relationship between the SUPPLIER (DISPATCH X LTD) and the INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR.
The INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR is in business on their own account as a Courier Driver, whom agrees to provide
the following services to the SUPPLIER:
- Multi drop courier work
- Same day delivery courier work
- Long distance delivery courier work
The Independent Contractor is entirely responsible for their own Tax and National Insurance arrangements and will
provide the Supplier (DISPATCH X LTD) with appropriate evidence to support the status. The Independent
Contractor is responsible for ensuring he/she complies with the HMRC legislation regarding Tax and National
Insurance. The Supplier (DISPATCH X LTD) also requires the Independent Contractor, at the earliest opportunity, and
before receipt of any payments for services provided, to furnish the Supplier (DISPATCH X LTD) with their personal
Unique Tax Reference (UTR) number. The Supplier (DISPATCH X LTD) reserves the right to withdraw the offer of
services to the Independent Contractor in the event that the Independent Contractor, after due notice, and without
reasonable explanation fails to provide their UTR number within the timeline detailed in this clause.
If the Independent Contractor standards of performance and conduct cause dissatisfaction, actions may be
taken such as, RE-TRAINING in class room, RE-TRAINING on road - no further work will be offered until
completing.
The Independent Contractor agrees that they are 18 years of age or older.
The Supplier (DISPATCH X LTD) reserves the right to change or discontinue any aspect of delivery routes,
temporarily or permanently with or without notice to Independent Contractor.
Under no circumstances, is the Independent Contractor to accept payments for goods or services from
customers or clients of Supplier (DISPATCH X LTD).
Independent Contractor acknowledges that the Supplier (DISPATCH X LTD) will require checks every 3 months
via the DVLA for any endorsements. As no more than 6 Points, DDR or IN10 are accepted by the Supplier
(DISPATCH X LTD)
Supplier (DISPATCH X LTD) prohibits the use of their van to engage in any illegal, improper, actionable or
criminal activity and to comply with all applicable law.
The Independent Contractor shall use the van (given by DISPATCH X LTD) to carry out work for just the Supplier
(DISPATCH X LTD).
Independent Contractor is solely responsible for the van, any damages caused to it will be charged to the
Independent Contractor plus the VAT.
The cost of any fines, such as parking ticket, toll fines or impound resulting from improper parking or operation
of the van is the responsibility of the Independent Contractor
Independent contractor shall promptly report any vehicle accident involving bodily harm or property damage
as soon as possible (within one hour) to the Supplier (DISPATCH X LTD).
All Independent Contractors agree to have minimum of £25,000 GOODS IN TRANSIT & £5,000,000 PUBLIC
LIABILITY and shall indemnify Supplier (DISPATCH X LTD) for any loss, liability, costs (including reasonable legal
costs), damages or expenses arising from any breach by you, or any substitute engaged under this agreement,
of the terms of this agreement, including any negligent or reckless act, omission or default in the provision of
the Services and shall maintain in force during the period of this agreement adequate insurance cover with
reputable insurers acceptable to Supplier (DISPATCH X LTD ).
When offered work by the SUPPLIER (DISPATCH X LTD) to the Independent Contractor, the Independent
Contractor may accept it or refuse it. Any refusal to accept work will not disqualify the Independent Contractor
being offered further work when another opportunity arises.
The Independent Contractor is free to send a suitably skilled and qualified substitute or hired assistant in his
place to provide the Services on their behalf provided, in the reasonable opinion of the Company and its Client,
the Substitute possess the necessary skills, qualifications and experience as set out in Schedule 3 to provide the
services. Where a substitute or hired assistant is sent by the Independent Contractor there shall be no
contractual or financial relationship between the Supplier (DISPATCH X LTD) and the substitute or hired
assistant. The Independent Contractor is solely responsible for arranging payments to the substitute or hired
assistant and for ensuring such persons possess the necessary skills, qualifications and licenses to perform the
services.
If, and only if, the Supplier (DISPATCH X LTD) is not reasonably satisfied the substitute or hired assistant has the
necessary skills or qualifications to provide the services it may reject the use of such substitute or hired
assistant.
The Independent Contractor will not work under the discretion and control of the Supplier (DISPATCH X LTD)
and is free to use their initiative in completing the agreed work. The Independent Contractor will have the
flexibility about working hours ‘’ not exceeding 10.5hrs per day or 63 hrs per week ‘’ and is not obliged to seek
permission to leave a site at any time but will nonetheless support the Supplier by making all reasonable
attempts to work within agreed overall deadlines. In addition, the Independent Contractor is expected to
observe HEALTH AND SAFETY Regulations regarding working hours and to comply with all required procedures
for site security or recording attendance for the specific purposes of HEALTH AND SAFETY Legislation or other
site operational requirements.
The Independent Contractor should take all reasonable measures to safeguard their own health and safety and
that of any other person who may be affected by their actions. While the Independent Contractor’s method of
service delivery is their own, the Independent Contractor agrees, that in the interests of Health and Safety
obligations imposed on the Supplier (DISPATCH X LTD), they will follow such reasonable operational rules
relating to their own, the Supplier’s and end-client’s security, road safety and applicable national and local laws
and bye-laws in so far as they are reasonably applicable to independent persons in business on their own
account. The Independent Contractor retains the right to choose to provide the services in accordance with
this agreement; however, they should also agree to meet the criteria, as detailed in Schedule 3, which sets out
the minimum service standards expected by the Supplier (DISPATCH X LTD) and end-user client(s).
The Independent Contractor will not hold their self out to be an employee or representative of the Company,
saves as both parties acknowledge for health and safety or security purposes the Supplier may need to be
identifiable as an Independent Contractor of the Company.
The Independent Contractor agrees under a separate agreement, and in accordance with the General Data
Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679, they have been offered and has provided the appropriate
consent to the Company to collate, retain and process data relating to them and/or any Substitute, under their
control, for legal, personnel, administrative and management purposes and in particular to the processing of
any "sensitive personal data" (as defined in the GDPR legislation) relating to the Supplier if strictly necessary, to
include information relating to any criminal proceedings, in which the Independent Contractor has been
involved, for insurance purposes and in order to comply with legal requirements and obligations to third
parties. The Independent Contractor shall comply with relevant obligations under the Data Protection Act 1998
and GDPR, and associated codes of practice, when processing personal data relating to any Independent
Contractor or third party of the Company
For the avoidance of doubt the Independent Contractor shall bear any/all expenses or disbursements incurred in providing the Services, including:
- Any and all tax liabilities associated with the provision of services to include those associated with the
engagement of an Independent Contractor or Substitute.
- The Independent Contractor will not be reimbursed for any insurance costs.
- The Independent Contractor bears the inherent risk and the deliverables shall transfer to the
Independent Contractor upon being collected at the base location and remain with them until it is
delivered.
- Title in the Deliverables being transported will remain with the Company’s end -user client
throughout the involvement of the Independent Contractor, who will hold it as a Bailee.
- Nothing in this agreement shall entitle the Independent Contractor to retain any Goods in any
circumstances whatsoever beyond the time taken to transport them in accordance with the
Company’s end-user client requirements
DISPATCH X LTD (SUPPLIER) recognises that discrimination is unacceptable and equality opportunity is a feature
of the Supplier’s (DISPATCH X LTD) practices and procedures and the Supplier operates a formal equal
opportunities policy. Breaches of the policy will lead to investigation and if appropriate further actions. The
aim of the policy is to ensure no person is discriminated against either directly or indirectly on the grounds of
race, colour, ethnic or national origin, religion and belief, sex, marital status, sexual orientation, gender
reassignments, age or disability.
Supplier (DISPATCH X LTD) maintains a neutral working environment in which no person feels threatened or
intimidated. The Independent Contractor is obliged not to act in a discriminatory fashion towards the other
Independent Contractor or third parties.
The Independent Contractor agrees under a separate agreement, and in accordance with the General Data

The day rate price will be agreed Between Supplier (DISPATCH X LTD) & Independent Contractor (see schedule
2) Written tenders are not required. DISPATCH X LTD (Supplier) and Independent Contractor are obliged to
honour any agreed price. (The current Service Rate Card and Remuneration can be found at schedule 2 to this
Contract for Services).
The Supplier (DISPATCH X LTD) facilitates payments on receipt of invoice on a weekly basis, setting out the
extent of the services provided to the Supplier (DISPATCH X LTD) during the preceding week and any VAT payable (if applicable). The Supplier (DISPATCH X LTD) will validate the invoice detail and pay such invoices
within 14 Days.
If/where applicable, the Independent Contractor agrees that the Supplier (DISPATCH X LTD) may deduct any
sums payable that the Independent Contractor may owe the Company, in respect of, and where applicable;
Vehicle rental (including relevant courier insurance) of refer to Appendix Two, If/where applicable, the
Independent Contractor agrees that the Supplier (DISPATCH X LTD) may deduct from any sums payable any
sums that the Independent Contractor may owe the Company, in respect of, and where applicable, vehicle
rental; insurance, (goods in transit, public liability – if using Supplier Vehicle and all blameworthy vehicle and
client customer property damage. The Independent Contractor agrees that they will be liable for any costs to
repair damage to the vehicle up to the value of the insurance excess £1000-£2,500, or in respect of traffic
violations including, but not restricted to, parking tickets and/or speeding fines. The Independent Contractor
will also be liable for any additional administrative costs, levied by any local authority or vehicle rental
company, in addition to the cost for traffic violations, parking tickets and/or speeding fines.
The Independent Contractor is responsible for all their personal and private costs of travel to and from the
location where the services are provided.
The Independent Contractor will receive no payment for any period where services are not provided, and the
Independent Contractor will receive no payment for any works cancelled by the Independent Contractor
regardless of any reason as to why works are cancelled. The Supplier (DISPATCH X LTD) will make payment to
the Independent Contractor for any payments received from the client in respect of ‘aborted routes’ i.e.
designated routes cancelled at short notice by the Client.
The Independent Contractor is engaged as a self-employed Independent Contractor and understands and
agrees that they are not entitled to any statutory payments such as holiday pay, sick pay, maternity/paternity
pay or any other payment of any kind.
The nature of your job means that it is essential that you are not under the influence of drugs or alcohol at any
time when you are providing services to Supplier (DISPATCH X LTD). The Supplier (DISPATCH X LTD) or its Client
reserves the right to carry out random testing of Independent Contractors of Supplier (DISPATCH X LTD) to
ensure that this requirement is complied with. Testing is carried out by a qualified tester from Supplier
(DISPATCH X LTD) Client’s chosen, trusted Toxicology Company.
Supplier (DISPATCH X LTD) will not tolerate theft of its property, client’s property, or other Independent
Contractors property either physically or intellectually from any Independent Contractor, visitor on Supplier
(DISPATCH X LTD) premises or Its Clients premises. Theft is a criminal offense and a serious violation of the
Supplier (DISPATCH X LTD) standards of conduct.
DISPATCH X LTD may at any time Withdraw your engagement with immediate effect due to:
- Committing any serious breach affecting the Business of Supplier (DISPATCH X LTD)
- Commit any serious or repeated breach or non-observance of any of the provisions of this agreement
or refuses or neglects to comply with any reasonable and lawful directions of Supplier (DISPATCH X
LTD)
- Are convicted of any criminal offense (other than an offense under any road traffic legislation in the
United Kingdom or elsewhere for which a fine or noncustodial penalty is imposed)
- Are in the reasonable opinion of the board of directors of Supplier (DISPATCH X LTD) (including any
committee of the board duly appointed by it) negligent or incompetent in the performance of the
Services
- Are declared bankrupt or makes any arrangement with or for the benefit of his creditors or has a
county court administration order made against him under the County Court Act 1984
- Are incapacitated (including by reason of illness or accident) from providing the Services for an
aggregate period of 120 days in any 52-week consecutive period
- Other than as a result of illness or accident, after notice in writing, willfully neglect to provide or fail to
remedy any default in providing the Services
- Where the Independent Contractor fails to complete the work on regular basis.
Due to the nature of the services provided by the Supplier, service levels are of the upmost importance in order
for the Supplier (DISPATCH X LTD) to fulfill its key obligations with its clients. The Independent Contractor
agrees and understands that the services provided by them must meet the standards expected of a
professionalism

Known, and measured, as percentage of shipments that have been successfully delivered on the first day they
are sent out for delivery (i.e. dispatched)
Deliverables will be deemed to have been delivered on time if the Parcel has been:
- Delivered to the addressee
- Left safe as instructed as shown on the Equipment
- Posted as instructed on the Equipment
- Delivered to a neighbour and details recorded on the Equipment’s
- Customer refuses delivery and details are recorded on theEquipment.
Concessions are quality performance measures, which are given to the client’s customers when they have
legitimate grounds to dispute service provided in the quality of the delivery experience.
The “Driver Attributable DPMO” also known as “DNR DPMO” is the number of Deliverables which do not
conform to a relevant customer specification, are lost, damaged or stolen during the course of you providing
the Services (and where a concession is granted) in the week, expressed as a DPMO for the total number of
units delivered by you during the course of the provision of Services in the same week.
Note: The client stipulates that you will have no right to challenge the calculation of ‘Attributable DPMO’s’
provided by the client.
Delivery exception measures manual debrief of a shipment, which was not scanned for delivery using the
Clients ‘rabbit’ application.
If minimum services levels are not reached or consistently maintained the Independent Contractor
acknowledges this may lead to reduction or withdrawal of the Independent Contractors services indefinitely or
until the Independent Contractor can satisfy the Supplier it can achieve the service levels required.

The above list is not exclusive and bespoke payments may be agreed between the Independent Contractor and
the Supplier (DISPATCH X LTD) representative. DPMO incentives are subject to the Independent Contractor
providing services to the Supplier (DISPATCH X LTD) at specific client locations collectively achieving the
incentive criteria.
The Independent Contractor confirms that in order to provide the services safely and legally they can meet the
following, prior to commencement of the services (and agrees the Supplier can provide such information to its
Client):
- Is eligible to work in a self-employed capacity in the United Kingdom (in accordance with Government
best practice requirements) and has registered with HM Revenue& Customs as self-employed (and
can provide evidence upon request)
- Is over 18 years of age
- Can provide confirmation of current work status, and reasons for leaving previous work for previous
twenty-four (24) months
- Passes a criminal background check, including but not limited to driving offenses
- Confirmation that in providing services to the Supplier they will not be in breach of any other
regulatory requirement
- Passes a Medical fitness for work check
- Passes a drug and alcohol screening test
- Has at least 6 months’ experience in like Vehicle within the last three years
- Holds a current and valid driving license (either a UK license or a European Community/European
Economic Area (EC/EEA) license, but if the latter they must hold a valid driving license counterpart for
non-GB license holders (DELLA D9 form)
- Has had no major preventable collisions within the previous three years;
- Does not have more than 6 penalty points (endorsements) on their driving license
- Has not committed more than 3 driving related offenses of any kind in the last 4 years
- Does not currently have penalty points (endorsements) on their driving license in relation to Offense
Codes CD40, CD50, CD60, CD70, CD80 or CD90;
- Does not currently have penalty points (endorsements) on their driving license in relation to Offense
Codes DD40, DD60, DD80, DD90;
- Does not currently have penalty points (endorsements) on their driving license in relation to Offense
Codes DR10, DR20, DR30, DR40, DR50, DR60, DR70, DR80, DR90;
- Does not currently have penalty points (endorsements) on their driving license in relation to Offense
Codes IN10, MS50 or UT50;
- Is not currently disqualified from driving (this includes having their license suspended)
- Does not have any unspent convictions on their criminal record (driving related or other).
- Can speak fluent English, has a high level of written English skills, and passes appropriate numeracy
tests.
- Confirmation of whether he has previously ceased providing services to the Company or its Client for

During the provision of the services the Independent Contractor agrees and consents that the Supplier may
undertake ongoing checks at such intervals as it deems appropriate, with no further notification to the
Independent Contractor and may disclose this information to any client the Independent Contractor chooses to
provide their services to.
Age Verification Deliveries (AVD) are deliveries that, by law, have to be signed for. This applies to deliveries to
customers that involve alcohol and knives, and, as such, the Supplier is required to verify the recipient’s age.
The current process in place is known as ‘Challenge ALL’ and the steps that the Supplier MUST follow are as
follows:
- Independent Contractors are required to verify the age regardless if the recipient appears to look
more than 25; the Independent Contractor needs to ask for Identification (ID) for all (AVD) Deliveries.
- If the recipient passes age verification, RABBIT only offers delivery to either the Customer, Front Desk,
or Mailroom. Neighbours, Mail-slot or Left-as-Instructed is not available for Age Verified deliveries
(AVD).
Parcels that require Age Verification:
- Clearly states ‘AGE18’ and the delivery date ‘DD/MM’ in the top right-hand corner of the label
- Must be delivered to the address on the delivery label
- Cannot be left with a ‘Neighbour, in a secure location ‘As Instructed’ or ‘Posted’
- The policy is ALWAYS to challenge ALL where it is an (AVD) delivery

Your DSP has a contract with an Amazon company to provide the Services. We receive and process any information you provide to us in relation to the Services. SeeExamples of Information Collected below. You can choose not to provide certain information but then you may not be eligible to perform the Services.
To perform the Services, you must download and use a smartphone application called the "Amazon Delivery App" (right of use for the Amazon Delivery App granted by Amazon EU Sarl). Unless you use your own mobile device, your DSP will give you a portable device ("Delivery Device") to use when performing Services. We refer to the Amazon Delivery App, Delivery Devices, and other Amazon applications ordevices we provide your DSP or which we or your DSP installs on vehicles in connection with the Services as the "Amazon Delivery Technology". We’ll automatically receive and process certain types of information any time youare logged into the Amazon Delivery App. See Examples of Information Collected below.
We will give you an Amazon security ID badge ("Badge"). You will need to use your Badge to access Amazon Delivery Stations or other sites at which you may pick up or return Amazon parcels (together, "Amazon Sites"). We’ll collect and process certain types of information when you visit Amazon Sites to ensure your security and the security of other personnel. See Examples of Information Collected below.
Your DSP or its subcontractors may disclose documents to us that include yourpersonal information for the provision, administration or audit of the Services. See Examples of Information Collected below.
We may receive information about you from other sources, including from our service providers (including those who may provide applications or devices that Amazon or your DSP installs onvehicles in connection with the Services), customers, and government authorities such as the police or local councils enforcing speeding or parking fines. See Examples of Information Collected below.
We collect, analyse, store and otherwise process your personal information on the following legal bases:
- Amazon’s legitimate interests in ensuring your safety and that of others, ensuring you make customer deliveries in accordance with the highest commercial standards, and preventing fraud
- To comply with our legal obligations
- For the performance of a contract where applicable
- In specific circumstances, your consent
The purposes for which we process your personal information according to the above legal bases include:
Ensuring your safety, the safety of Amazon personnel and others: We may need to process your personal information for security reasons and in circumstances where your safety or the safety of others is at risk, for instance in the event of a fire or another emergency, on the basis of Amazon’s legitimate interests in ensuring your safety and that of others.
To do this effectively, we may need to process your geolocation when you’re on an Amazon Site or when you’re on the road performing Services. We may communicate your geolocation to emergency services so they or your DSP can get to you quickly if you’re involved in an accident. As a way to ensure that all Delivery Associates delivering Amazon parcels perform the Services safely, we may also process your data related to your compliance with road safety and health & safety rules and standards.
We process your personal information to assess your ongoing eligibility in accordance with Delivery Associate eligibility requirements andservice standards agreed with your DSP on the basis of Amazon’s legitimate interests in ensuring your safety and that of others, ensuring you make customer deliveries in accordance with the highest commercial standards, and preventing fraud. This may include information you provide us through the onboarding process.
We process your personal information to coordinate, manage and audit your DSP’s provision of the Services on the basis of Amazon’s legitimate interests in ensuring your safety and that of others, ensuring you make customer deliveries in accordance with the highest commercial standards, and preventing fraud, and to comply with our contractual obligations. This includes planning delivery routes, providing delivery support, tracking delivery progress, and assessing your DSP’s compliance with Amazon policies and service standards.
We process your personal information to communicate with you in connection with the Services on the basis of Amazon’s legitimate interests in ensuring your safety and that of others, ensuring you make customer deliveries in accordance with the highest commercial standards, and preventing fraud, and to comply withour legal obligations. This includes communicating with you while you deliver Amazon parcels via different channels (e.g. by phone, SMS or chat).
We may process your personal information to provide support to you, your DSP and our customers to ensure the effective completion of the Services, including managing customer complaints on the basis of Amazon’s legitimate interests in ensuring you make customer deliveries in accordance with the highest commercial standards and to comply with our legal obligations. We use your location data when you’re performing Services to keep our customers informed of the status of their collection/delivery and to enable them to see the location of their parcels.
We use your personal information to enhance the delivery experience for Delivery Associates and customers, including by improving mapping systems and providing driver support while you perform the Services on the basis of Amazon’s legitimate interests in ensuring your safety and that of others, ensuring and ensuring you make customer deliveries in accordance with the highest commercial standards.
In case of legal proceedings, we may need to process and share your personal information to establish, exercise or defend against the claim, or if compelled or ordered to do so by a court, governmental or administrative authority in order to comply with our legal obligations. We may also need to process and share your personal data in order to protect Amazon’s rights or enforce the terms of our agreement with your DSP on the basis of Amazon’s legitimate interests in ensuring you make customer deliveries in accordance with the highest commercial standards and preventing fraud.
We may process your personal information in order to comply with our legal obligations or to verify or prove that we have done so. This may include processing or sharing data related to your compliance with health and safety standards and the handling of Amazon customer data on the basis of compliance with our legal and contractual obligations.
We may process your personal information to investigate, resolve and report (as appropriate) any fraud, theft or other wrong doing in relation to your performance of the Services, including Badge Swapping and missing packages on the basis of Amazon’s legitimate interests in ensuring you make customer deliveries in accordance with the highest commercial standards and preventing fraud.
Amazon shares Delivery Associates' personal information only as described below.
Your personal information may be disclosed by the Controller to Amazon EU affiliates, including Amazon EU Sarl and Amazon Europe Core Sarl, and additionally Amazon.com, Inc. and other subsidiaries that Amazon.com, Inc. controls. All Amazon entities we share your information with are either subject to this Privacy Notice or follow practices that are at least as protective as those described in this Privacy Notice. We only share your information with Amazon entities that have a need to know or have access to it and where lawful to do so.
We may collect and share your personal information with your DSP, including your location, the number of Amazon parcels assigned to you and the number of Amazon parcels remaining on a given delivery route, customer or other complaints in which you may be involved, or your non-compliance with health & safety standards.
When we need to, we may share your personal data with third parties who provide services to Amazon, including the companies that install and manage devices on the vehicles you use when providing the Services or develop and manage applications downloaded on the Delivery Device or your own mobile device; survey companies or, where legally permissible, background check service providers. We ensure that any such third party provides guarantees that meet Amazon standards regarding the confidentiality and security of your personal information. For example, our third party providers must comply with our data security standards, data protection laws, and international transfer restrictions, may only have access to personal information needed to perform their functions and may not use it for other purposes than providing the agreed services to us.
As we continue to develop our business, we might sell or buy other businesses or services. In such transactions, relevant business data (which may include your personal information) is generally one of the transferred business assets but remains subject to the promises made in any pre-existing Privacy Notice.
In certain circumstances, we may be obliged to share your personal information with third parties including administrative authorities (including tax authorities), financial institutions, insurance providers, police and public prosecutors. These third parties will act as controllers of your personal information in their own right and will be responsible for compliance with applicable data protection laws.
Subject to applicable laws, we may release your personal information to law enforcement, governmental authorities or private organisations whose aim is to prevent fraud or theft when we believe such release is appropriate or necessary to (i) comply with the law; (ii) enforce our contract with your DSP;(iii) protect the rights, property, security or safety of Amazon, its affiliates, personnel, customers, or others; (iv) detect, prevent or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues; or (v) prevent or stop activity which we consider to be, or to pose a risk of becoming, illegal, unethical, or legally actionable.
Whenever we transfer your personal information to countries outside the European Economic Area ("EEA") in the course of sharing information as set out above, we’ve put in place adequate safeguards to protect your privacy, fundamental rights and freedoms, and the exercise of your rights. . You have the right to request access to, correction, deletion, or portability (i.e. request a copy for yourself or transmission to another data controller) of your personal information. Note that a deletion request will not apply to information that Amazon has a right to retain for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims or for compliance with its legal obligations (i.e. tax and accounting requirements). You are also entitled to object to the processing of your personal information or request its limitation in certain instances. When we process your personal information based on your consent, you may withdraw it for the future at any time. Exercising these rights may mean that you will no longer be able to perform the Services. We keep your personal information to enable your continued performance of the Services, for as long as we need it to fulfil the purposes described in this Privacy Notice, as may be required by law such as for tax, accounting or claims management purposes, or as otherwise communicated to you. For example, we retain your location data to enhancethe delivery experience for Delivery Associates and customers, including by improving mapping and route planning systems.

We encourage you to review the content of this Notice regularly by asking your DSP for a copy of it or in the Amazon Delivery App.
You provide information to us when you:
- Onboard as a Delivery Associate
- Communicate and interact with Amazon personnel, including delivery support services and other Amazon support teams
- Answer Connections questions, surveys or provide other feedback to Amazon
As a result of these actions, you might supply us with such information as your name; phone number, email and address; your date of birth; your driver’s licence and ID photograph; your Delivery Associate account password.
Examples of the information we collect, analyse, store and otherwise process include:
- Route data, including when you pick up and deliver packages and your progress through delivery routes
- Location data, including information about your geo-location and the device operating the Amazon Delivery App as required for location-based services
- Where permissible by local laws, we and/or your DSP may collect or receive road safety data, including telematics data such as location of the vehicle, speed, harsh braking, cornering or acceleration collected byAmazon Delivery Technology while you perform the Services
- Metrics such as your rate of successful deliveries to enable us to manage your DSP’s compliance with agreed service standards
From the moment you check into the Amazon Delivery App when beginning a scheduled delivery route until the moment you check out, we will collect and process your geolocation. Most mobile devices provide you with information about these permissions and you have the right to choose whether or not to allow Amazon to receive this information. However, as our ability to receive this information is an important part of managing our customer’s expectations and locating parcels, if you choose to deny Amazon access to this information, this could affect the availability and functionality of the Amazon Delivery App and, as a result, your ability to perform the Services under your DSP’s contract with Amazon.
Examples of the information we collect, analyse, store and otherwise process include:
- What time you arrive at and leave an Amazon Site, for example, when collecting parcels or returning any undelivered parcels
- CCTV footage
Examples of the information and documents your DSP may provide to us which analyse, store and otherwise process include:
- Information or documents provided by you to your DSP, including work permits, registration with health insurance providers, your residence permit, [For DE only: your Personalausweis ID/Ausweisdokument, your Statusfeststellung Selbständige,] your declaration that you are medically fit to perform the DSP Services,and your social security information
- Personnel administration data, including confirmation of completed safety trainings, pay slips, attendance data, your employment contract or contract of services
- [For UK/ DE/AT only: Where permissible by local laws, information regarding whether you passed a criminal background check]
- Where permissible by local laws, the results of drug or alcohol screening by your DSP or their service provider
Examples of information we receive from other sources which we analyse, store and otherwise process include:
- Amazon customer surveys, feedback and complaints
- Results of surveys conducted by third parties on our behalf
- Information on alleged traffic and parking violations
- Where permissible by local laws, we and/or your DSP may collect or receive road safety data including telematics data such as location of the vehicle, speed, harsh braking, cornering or acceleration and other vehicle diagnostics collected by devices installed on your delivery vehicle (which may be provided/managed by a third party) or by applications downloaded on the Delivery Device or the mobile device you use (which may be provided/managed by a third party) while you perform the Services.
